Just shut up and let me run things!

Do not be concerned about the second Amendment (McCaine does not own any guns); we are in danger of loosing our first Amendment. Once again McCain has gone after our first Amendment freedom of speech. What does he have against the people being able to speak freely? Our Bill of Rights guarantees us the right to redress grievances against our government, unless it is speech aimed at a politician apparently. Another question is why am I reporting this and not the national media, you know NBC, CBS and ABC and curiously FNC; these are the guys who you would think profit the most from the first Amendment. And the fact that it is a Republican that is heading this assault would be usually more than enough for them to tar and feather the Republican party as being anti–Constitutional! But they have been strangely quiet on this issue, makes you wonder…hmmm, what are they getting out of this? This is what McCain (R) Arizona, said when asked if the McCain-Feingold law impeded the freedom of speech on the Don Imus radio show (April 28 06). (McCaine) "I work in Washington and I know that money corrupts. And I and a lot of other people were trying to stop that corruption. Obviously, from what we've been seeing lately, we didn't complete the job. But I would rather have a clean government than one where quote First Amendment rights are being respected that has become corrupt. If I had my choice, I'd rather have the clean government." This total nut job of a Republican is willing to throw away everything that the Founding Fathers fought and died for. In case any of you have forgotten what it is that I am referring to here it is: Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. I wonder how long until someone exercises their second amendment rights to protect the first. What could cause a person to consider removing parts of the Constitution just for “a clean government” the money that goes to the various candidates also comes from the average Joe in America. Are they the reason that McCaine needs to fear; I fear a Government that fears the voice of the people. It used to be considered treason again the crown if you spoke ill of the King; this was punishable by death in some instances. Is this what we want. If it was not for this freedom of speech, we would not know who is a whack job and who is not. As an end note President Bush signed this into law, these are very troubling signs indeed.
