Down With Capitalism Up With Crisis!

The Killing of Capitalism Continues.

This morning on Fox News (9/14/09) Juan Williams was being interviewed about the so called racial component behind Joe Wilson’s “you lie” outburst in the senate. This does not surprise me one bit, democrats seeing a racist in all Republicans. And they wonder why they can not get along. Oh it is a black president, you disagree with him, you are a bigot, racist, good ole boy, redneck and the list goes on.

This is not what I want to focus on. I want to focus on Sept. 13th ;on CNN State Of the Union Live, with white house spokesman Robert Gibbs said after the comments about Sen. Joe Wilson. He said that we were going to be celebrating on Monday the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Just that one sentence alone should be more charged than Joe Wilson’s “you lie.”

Here is the entire quote for you to gaze upon. Just so you do not accuse me of taking anything out of context. That argument seems to only work one way anymore.

“People are upset because on Monday we celebrate the anniversary of the Lehman Brothers collapse that caused a financial catastrophe unlike anything we’ve ever seen,” Gibbs said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. The rescue of financial institutions and automakers General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC “cost a lot of money, but it’s something that we had to do.”

Even if Robert did not mean to phrase it that way, “celebrate” the collapse of an industry, this was a mother of a Freudian slip if any. Not only do these guys not waste a crisis, but apparently they also celebrate them.

This is definitely change and hope…for the worst.

Some of you out there, I hope you are starting to wake up to the reality that Barack Hussein Obama does not have your best interest at heart, but his own, which we are seeing is very Anti-American.

National Health Care is Coming The Constitution is No More!

Long Live the Commonwealth and The Constitution Be Damned!

Do you remember the movie V is for Vendetta, well that apparently is to be played out here in the land of the Free and the home of the Brave. This movie started out with a very nasty virus and someone had a cure and took over the nation for the public safety.

Let me start out first by saying that this is no plot for a scifi movie. This is legislation that is being brought forth in several states, not just the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Several other states have put together laws and plans in case of a pandemic outbreak of a disease. This years flavor or excuse to take more Constitutional freedoms away, the H1N1 virus.

The bill in Massachusetts tramples all over the 4th amendment, the 6th amendment and could even violate the 2nd amendment. The 2nd comes in because the legislation states that all infected materials shall be removed and destroyed. They do consider your domicile to be infected until it is disinfected and they can and will enter into your property without a warrant or permission, this is a health CRISIS you know. These are suspension of rights that would make even President Lincoln happy. Back to the 2nd amendment; your guns are in your house and you have come into contact with them, and they now are deemed to have the H1N1 or whatever virus on them. In order to make them safe you have to disinfect them, if not then they have to be disposed of, in the name of public safety of course.

The 6th amendment, which guarantees you a speedy trial is done away with here. You are sick so you are guilty of public endangerment. If you refuse to get help then you face imprisonment and fines for NON COMPLIANCE. Your jail term is mandatory until you are well.

The 4th amendment is as follows. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, HOUSES, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. The Massachusetts law says that everything in the domicile is considered infected and no permission is needed to enter the domicile or business of the infected.

This is how it is going to start, with the “public safety” in mind. The Constitution is there to protect the sick and those who are well. And Barack Obama is hell bent on a government control of the health in this nation. I don’t think so!

Here is the full story with excerpts from the Massachusetts bill.

Unions Vs. Auto Dealerships

Unions, standing in the gap for the little guy. Unions, standing in the gap for those who are getting the shaft from the Big Guys. Unions have been historically a way to level the playing field for the workers and to help the workers live better, so the bumper sticker goes. But that is where it stops.

You will realize this once you read this article.
Washington AP Jul 21 11:12 AM US/Eastern By KEN THOMAS
Associated Press Writer
Obama auto task force warns against dealer plan

The entire article here. Breitbart is a wonderful place to read news that is new(my words of course).
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D99ITLG00&show_article=1&catnum=0

So what does this have to do with Unions. Well Ron Bloom, who is the point man for the Obama administration, who is working on this huge car bail out mess, is a huge Union man himself. Working for the United Steelworkers Union, Service Employees International Union and for the Jewish Labor Union. He worked as an investment banker and even owned a boutique firm. Apparently there was not enough money in that to keep his interests. Or maybe the company they owned threatened to Unionize on him.

So this guy now finds himself in the belly of the Union Beast fighting against the very same individuals that he was supposed to care about. Funny how being in power will do that to you.

Well the legislation that this “Union Man” opposes would not only give time to the dealers but also relieve them, for the most part, of their obligations to the Teamsters pensions. The Teamsters are the ones who transport the vehicles from the factory to the dealers. When in doubt follow the money. This bill in congress would also give some auto dealers temporary protection from millions in withdrawal fees owed to a Union pension plan.

Here is the link for this article
http://www.startribune.com/politics/47478817.html

Even the car dealers are being pinched by the Union thugs and they are out of business, for now. But you know what, we must protect that which is Union, no matter what the cost is to the other guy.

I can see why the bumper sticker says “Live Better, Work Union”. I mean even after you destroy an industry you get more money out of a pension from that destroyed industry. How cool is that!

So this big car guy in the Government is trying his best to kill off what is left of “real working Americans”. Yes I said real working Americans, because these guys have to work with out a safety net and do not take a Union brake for this or that. So I do not want to hear from you “we work hard too, at our Unionized $20 hour job with benefits and full vacations” crowd. It will fall on deaf and unsympathetic ears.

Here is a thought, why does not Ron Bloom cut back benefits for the Unions, you know, to spread the wealth around a little bit. Level the playing field for all and not just the “chosen” few.

What We Celebrate!

This 4th of July let us not forget what and why we are celebrating. It is not the loud explosions or the displays of bright colors, but of the human spirit yearning to be and becoming free. The ideal that we as a people have found a way that allows us to explore our greatest potential and encourage others to do the same.

The 4th is more than just another day in a year that we have cook outs, play patriotic music and light off fireworks. This is a day that a group of men gathered together and signed a document that caused them to become criminals and traitors. This document they signed was more than just the beginning of our Union but that of our freedoms and reaching into an unknown way of life.

This Declaration of Independence set us on a collision course with the most powerful navy and army of the time. It spelled out the grievances and atrocities that had been thrust upon a population. The simple fact that ones thoughts and speech could land you in prison was contrary to nature and to the soul of mankind to speak and hear the truth.

Our freedom of the press was once considered libelous and when asked why the truth should be shunned in such a manner, we were told that the truth was not a defense for libel. The truth shall set you free, or if the truth is never heard will imprison you. As a saying “If you tell a lie long enough, people will begin to believe it.” Only the truth will shorten the way of a long told tale

Great Men and Women have fought and died so that this great document would guarantee our Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. So much blood went to water the Tree of Liberty so that its branches will give life to so many others and provide shade in the heat of tyranny. We must tend it regularly or it may wither in the sun of discontent and complacency.

Given to so many to entrust with a Liberty so dear, we must hold on with determination, even unto death as has been before and will come again. “Give me liberty or give me death” is more than a motto, it is a declaration of our taking the reigns freedom and riding toward destiny. To take back that which is our birthright, to declare to the world “come here and be free or stay there and be slaves.”

Our land is one of opportunity, to explore and cherish, to create your own destiny with out the interference of those who think they know you better than yourself. To give into the natural yearning to be free of oppression, to innovate, to create, to be the best that God wants us to aspire too. Even those who do not believe in the higher cause you are encouraged to be the best.

To deny the greatness of this land is to spit in the face of Destiny and Liberty, to despoil all the works and the blood that was shed, so that we could be a light unto the world that lives in the darkness of oppression.

So this Independence day lift up a light and proudly proclaim that you love this land, that you are a part of this “grand experiment” into human innovation, bringing freedom to millions and millions more to come.

And may Almighty God bless our wonderful nation and put the fire of freedom into each and every one of us.

Finally Justice……Also Some Ignorance!

You are wandering down a dark corridor and you see a door, you open the door and you see a sign; CAUTION: you have now just entered “The Demwitted Zone!

For your consideration, in recent light of the New Haven Conn. Firefighters case that came before the Supreme Courts. Should white firefighters be denied the opportunity to advance because no blacks were able to pass the exams for Lieutenant and Captain.

The Supreme Court thought that was stupid too (5-4). But………………

In dissent, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said the white firefighters "understandably attract this court's sympathy. But they had no vested right to promotion. Nor have other persons received promotions in preference to them."

Whites have no “vested right to promotion,” does this strike you as “whitey go home!” And that the whites “attract this court’s sympathy,” attract sympathy, like you would for a lost dog, as you drive by him in the rain an splash water on him and say “he is so cute.”

Just that one dissent speaks volumes about those who want “racial equality” in our country, they don’t! If they did then this case would, like Sotomayor, be a no brainer to figure out. But hey far it be from me to tell others how they should be or live, I am one of those whackos who believe you should be allowed to be the best you are no matter what you skin color is. Oh yeah by the way, Sotomayor even admitted that here test scores were not the best and benefited from preferences while in law school.

We are in trouble when we start to think that one set of standards are to be applied to one group of people and an entirely different set to another.

But hey, thanks to the former ACLU lawyer (D) for sticking up for the downtrodden, right.

We Owe David Duke an Apology.

So let me get this straight, I can not under pain of punishment, go out 90 day before a national election and run an ad against a candidate. But I can stand in front of a polling place wielding a nightstick and dressed in black fatigues intimidating people who go into vote, hoping that they, the targets of my intimidation, will not vote.

Again the news is this, the members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, was acquitted of charges that they violated the civil rights of voters today. They were told not to do it again and that was that.

Boy if that had been a white boy or a Klans man we would still be hearing about it today, but these were B.O’s homies and that can not be allowed to stand as convictable action, never mind that B.O. stated during his campaign that he would go after civil rights abuses. And to make things worse one of the three men had DEMOCRATIC credentials as a poll watcher but I think that is more par for the course.

Just think if this had been a white man or woman doing this exact same thing but in a militia uniform. There would be riots and civil rights marches but instead we have to find out about on Drudge Report and Fox News.

Now this combined with the Sonya Sotomayor is more of the same old same old that you would expect from a glorified “community activist.”

Even civil rights lawyers who went through the 1960's were shocked at the Attorney General of the US letting these goons go.

People you need to wake up this man is out to pay whitey back and pay him back in spades.

Michelle Obama Very High Maintenance!

$540 for a pair of sneakers. Wow that is great that Michelle Obama can go and spend that kind of money. And they are not just any sneakers, they are French design house lanvin. Of course her stressful and demanding day requires that she wears only comfortable shoes. Walking the dog is such a great hassle if it were not for great shoes. Hey lady have you not heard of Shoe Carnival or Wal-Mart or even Target and K-Mart, I yeah that would be too low class for her tastes.

I wonder whose wealth they had to spread around for that? We have been told by this administration that wealth is so gauche (low class) and did not they learn to forgo “middleclassness.” I seem to remember a certain Church Of Christ Pastor, teaching against just this such extravagances.

The $540 dollars could have went to help someone who was unemployed or help someone homeless. Or how about this one $540 sneakers never helped to feed a hungry child ( thank you Bill Clinton for that.)

You know for a household who seems to tell the rest of us to tighten our belts, sure does seem to loosen theirs. Living the high life is something that even the best of socialists cannot avoid. The one truth in life is this; there will always be the poor, so do not pontificate about being frugal when you buy $540 dollar shoes.

Here is the link to this wonderfully “rich” article!

Respect the Mexican Flag or Else!

Well here is just one more example of how we are to respect the customs and flags of other countries.

The Mexican ambassador to Spain is up set at an ad in which Burger King uses a tall cowboy and a short Mexican wrestler that is wearing a cape with the Mexican flag on it.

Apparently Mexico is strict about the use of its flag and does not reciprocate those feelings toward our flag to the immigrants that they encourage to come to the U.S.

We know they have very strict immigration laws; now we find out they have strict flag observance laws. Why do they trash our values and symbols but yet there will be hell to pay if we disrespect them.

This is why people like myself are embittered toward immigrants who disrespect our flag and our customs. I know, I know, they are here to do the work that Americans do not want to do (right G.W.) Yeah, about that, I am sure right now Americans are saying any job is better than no job, and to hell with the migrant worker.

Oh by the way the American flag in the U.S. flies above the Mexican flag always, so take a flying leap you United State-ophobic freaks!

Here is this infuriating sorry story

Mexico slams Burger King for 'whopper' of insult

Apr 13 07:28 PM US/Eastern
By MARK STEVENSON
Associated Press Writer

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico is protesting what it says is a whopper of an insult.
An advertisement for Burger King's chili-flavored "Texican" burger that has run in Europe shows a small wrestler dressed in a cape resembling a Mexican flag. The wrestler teams up with a lanky American cowboy twice his height to illustrate the cross-border blend of flavors.

"The taste of Texas with a little spicy Mexican," a narrator's voice says.

The much-taller cowboy boosts the wrestler up to reach high shelves and clean tall windows, while the Mexican helps the cowboy open a jar.

Mexico's ambassador to Spain said Monday he has written a letter to Burger King's offices in that nation objecting to the ad and asking that it be removed. Jorge Zermeno told Radio Formula that the ads "improperly use the stereotyped image of a Mexican."

Press officials at Burger King Corp. offices in Miami, Florida, and Madrid, Spain, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Burger King is known for its signature Whopper hamburger.

One of the things that most angered Mexican officials was a print edition of the ad showing the wrestler wearing what appear to be a Mexican flag as a cloak.

(Here is the part of the story that will upset you!)
"We have to tell these people that in Mexico we have a great deal of respect for our flag," Zermeno said.

Mexico has very strict rules about using the flag. In 2008, the government fined a foreign-owned publishing house, Random House Mondadori SA, for showing disrespect to the country's flag in a video posted online.

The video showed a literature fan wearing a Mexican flag like a cape as he barges into a book signing and rips a piece of cloth from the coat of Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho.

It is not the first time that fast-food outlets have offended Mexican sensibilities.

Mexicans and other Hispanics in the United States objected to a Taco Bell ad from the 1990s that featured a pint-sized talking Chihuahua that spoke with a Mexican accent.

B.O. Our Embarrassment But a Socialists Dream

Dude where is the Keg!

After the G(whiz)20 summit and an end to “Post-War Anglo-Saxon Capitalism”
Nicolas Sarkozy, France’s president, said that agreement on a new regulatory regime and crackdown on tax havens showed that “a page has been turned” on an era of post-war “Anglo- Saxon” capitalism.
This is a little surprising since he threatened to walk out of the talks and the Brits have been warning that you can not tax and spend your way out of a recession as deep as this one had been. Are we even surprised at this latest development. Limbaugh was right when he said that all the talk over BO not getting the reception that he would want, was a bunch of BS. BO fulfilled his socialist/fascist wish list. It is apparent that the fix was already in even before BO went over the pond. He did not want to be embarrassed if things had fallen through.

But there is one surprise, the Chinese, as world leaders are threatening to black list tax havens such as Hong Kong.

The summit ended with smiles as a dispute between China and France over the blacklisting of tax havens – including possibly Hong Kong and Macao – continued behind the scenes
.

You have to understand that the Chinese are the epitome of socialism (yeah I also know they are communist), why would they want to have a tax haven on their soil, maybe capitalism is looking really good to them right now. You have to admit it is real strange that the Chinese government got rid of capital gains taxes in order to spur economic growth (hey BO are you listening.)

Any how; on to my gratuitous comparison between how BO is being treated to how former President Bush would have been treated.

Giving Her Majesty an iPod, how gauche, besides she already has one. Well its not like he has not given other British officials cheap gifts, remember the DVD’s to the PM.

Just imagine if this had been former President Bush, that would have been comic fodder to last into summer reruns and not to mention what Micheal Moore would have done with that (he would wet himself producing another "documentary.") And a barrage of “G.W. is soooooooooooooo stupit” stories would have pumped the dragging ratings of MSNBC and others (you know the 20 or so people who watch it.)

I am sooooooooo glad that I am an Amerikan (that’s the teleprompter not me, honest.)

You have to be glad that we elected this idiot, now we will know the next time around, if there is a next time around, the truth squad may be hunting me down so I should stay out of Missouri.

Obama Is Dumb, Oh Wait That Was Bush, Right?

This will be a very short blog entry. B.O. on J. Leno insulted the Special Olympics. They were talking about the president bowling and B.O. likened his score to bowling with the Special Olympics.

Now to be fair I am sure a lot of sporting types out there have made that off cuff remark to their buddies when they are talking smack. But if this would have been G. W. Bush, Cheney, Dan Quayle, or any other Republican… the outrage would be enormous. The two faced, hypocritical press would be calling for impeachment or to have the “bums thrown out.”

Again tell me that Bush is stupid when we have this no talent butt clown in office using the disabled for a joke.

Some one get the duct tape, enough said.

My Advice for Meghan McCain.

Meghan McCain is one good looking nut that did not fall far from the tree. She claims that she has not been a Republican for very long; but like her father she is missing the whole idea of why she will be branded a RHINO in the not to distant future.

She completely misses the whole idea of freedom of speech as does her dear old daddy, can anybody say McCain Feingold. Yeah Ann Coulter can come off as abrasive but if the truth is supposed to hurt then abrasiveness will scrape away the lies and allow the healing to begin. If you completely read what Ann Coulter has to say, you will find yourself laughing and slapping your forehead and saying “doh!”

But what really floors me is what Meghan says:

McCain admitted she had only been a Republican for less than a year, but even after losing the election, she added, ''I find myself more drawn to GOP ideals and wanting to fight for the party's resurgence. And if figureheads like Ann Coulter are turning me off, then they are definitely turning off other members of my generation as well. She does appeal to the most extreme members of the Republican Party--but they are dying off, becoming less and less relevant..."

I hate to break it to you Meghan but your dad is the one who turned off most Republicans and they only reason he had any showing in the poles was because of Palin.

Your dad represented the Blue Blood Country Clubbers who just wanted to get along and crossed over to the other side i.e. McCain Feingold, McCain Kennedy, McCain Lieberman just to name a few. Your dad is the reason Obama was elected, he is the reason we now have restrictions on our political free speech, which is no longer free I guess but regulated. If you think that he is right and the rest of the population is wrong, then you have a real rude awakening headed your way.

For the most part of the Bush years, which I am convinced that your dear old dad still resents, the Republicans showed themselves to be more demoncrat than conservative. Ann Coulter is a representation of the frustration that MILLIONS of us, who vote and still have a voice for now (McCain Feingold) were thinking especially after the Republicans “got a whoopin” (Bush’s words not mine) in 2006.

Meghan your admitted inexperience is showing an you would be advised to pick your battles carefully and leave Ann out of it. I have seen Ann Coulter and she would make Meghan look like a fool, she understands people who are like John McCain and knows how to dispatch them with excruciating truth and wit. Ann Coulter is not to be taken lightly, she can be a heart attack if you let her. My Advise is to read her books and learn more about her before you go and attack her. I have a feeling that Meghan is just going on hearsay and that is going to make her look foolish when you have to face Ann Coulter. If Ann is really your enemy, then get to know your enemy well.

Personally I would like to see Meghan get her clock cleaned but Ann is showing that discretion is a better part of valor. You should take Ann’s refusal to deal with you as a warning but having said that, go ahead and push her, I would love to see something funny happen to you; maybe not funny to you but laugh out loud funny to the rest of us who did not vote for McCain but Palin instead.

Like I said a rude awakening.

Even Communist Do Not Use Unions!

On the Glenn Beck show March 4, 2009, we learned that not even the Communist Party USA uses union members. Sam Webb the national chairman was being questioned by Glenn Beck when Sam had given the web site for the Communist Party USA, and the web site was crashed by viewers of Glenn Beck. When Glenn received this news Sam Webb said that he would talk to his IT people. Glenn then asked if they were union guys who ran his site and Sam said no. Glenn with a look of shock, because he was asking in a half joking manner about union workers operating the web site, Glenn asked why not. Sam Webb then replied we are not a union shop. Glenn also pointed out that the CPUSA ended in .org, which makes this a tax free entity or a political movement.

Two things that I can not figure out is this, communist should be the first to use unions and second they should be more than happy to pay taxes to fund a bigger government.

Sam also said that he would take responsibility for Joe Stalin and that Glenn Beck would take responsibility for Hitler, who by the way was the head of the National Socialist Democratic Party or the NSDP.

Glenn also pointed out that Communist namely Joe Stalin had killed millions of people during his reign of terror, Sam said that he doubts that actually happened, I suppose he also denies that holocaust.

Sam Webb did say that B.O. was an advocate of the people and does not think that B.O. is a communist. Sam also could not show one communist country that works.

Sam Webb is what is wrong with the world, he would just take stuff from you, like he did take a glass of water from Glenn on his show. This just proves that people like him has no respect for you or what you have, to them all belongs to whomever can take it.

Bottom line whenever someone tells you that they want to give you stuff, look out, it may be your stuff that they are giving away.

Oh yeah by the way try to get a picture of this man of the people and it will cost you money to get it. So this blog will remain bland.

Connection between Mugabe and Obama?

Once again B.O. has to go to Canada and once again he has to reassure them that the “buy American” provision in the “Porkulus Maximus” bill, was just to satisfy the bitter clingers (my words not his.)

"This is a huge risk to the world right now. If there is one thing that could turn a recession into a depression, it is protectionist measures across the world," Canada's PM Harper told CNN in an interview. He said he was encouraged by Obama's signals on the issue but cautioned that Canada had options of recourse under international trade law if necessary.

Once again I must say buy American, wink, wink. I mean the Canadians have “recourse” right?

If this massive bill was going to be such a debacle, then why oh why did B.O. insist on it being signed sight unseen. And if this was to go towards creating jobs for Americans, then why oh why is he telling others not to worry things will stay the same.

This is a man who has absolutely no experience in this realm of politics, he should have stayed in the senate where he could have continued his agitating.

Can you imagine if Bush would have done something like this, they would be calling for his impeachment and eventual lynching.

We will not get the truth from B.O. nor will we get a straight answer from his administration. So much for transparency and accountability that he promised. Where are all of the critics of the Bush administration about a secretive government, oh yeah, I forgot they elected B.O.

This man will touch off another tariff war, all because he can not keep things straight in his own mind……or is he doing this on purpose. You have to ask yourself would he destroy the American economy just to create an emergency (because you cannot waste a crisis remember) and then take complete control of the US with his minions and myrmidons? Maybe he really is not foolish after all. Maybe he sees himself as a type of Robert Mugabe or some other African dictator in waiting.

Speaking of Mugabe, in 2001 the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act or ZDERA; allowed that government to print “Trillions” of dollars and that led to serious hyperinflation. Like B.O. Mugabe harassed his political opponents like the Movement for Democratic Change, now think of Rush, Hannity, Boortz and when he said that “Republicans should not listen to Rush, that will not get things done” and the calls for a version of the “fairness” docterine.

And now with his Attorney General stating that we are a nation of cowards because we do not play with the black kids on our weekends; what are they going to do next redistribute our land in addition to our wealth. You know Mugabe gave his support to the SADC’s (South African Development Community) intervention in the Second Congo War which redistributed thousands of white owned farms.

Could this Marxist, redistributionist, collectiveness come to our shores, with B.O. all things are possible.
You know, a lot of folks including me, tried to warn the American people that this man was going to be bad for America. Just think Jimmy Carter part 2 but only worse.

Above: Mugabe and his wife Grace.

Black History Month Turned Racist!

This is what this guy will be remembered for!

Eric Holder, the nation's first black attorney general, said Wednesday the United States was "a nation of cowards" on matters of race, with most Americans avoiding candid discussions of racial issues.
In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," Holder said.

Is this the change that we are going to expect from the B.O. administration. No longer can you whites get by with saying that you have a black friend and he is a really nice guy, now you are going to have to prove it!

Soon gone are the days when you can go home and relax with your family with no impunity or judgment. According to Eric Holder, you are a coward if you do not mix with blacks…uh I mean African–American People (that of the chosen one.)

You can go ahead and call me a racist, I do not give a damn. When I am being called a coward because I do not associate with a preferred skin color, so-called minority, that happens to be in fashion at the time, then I will up my standards and you need to UP YOURS!

Boy if this would have been a republican talking this way about black…uh I mean African–Americans, then all kinds of hell would have been raised about the racism in that statement.

Look, who I choose to hang out with IN MY OWN DAMN TIME, IS MY OWN DAMN BUSINESS!

When you have a black…uh I mean African–American minister, Dr. Joseph Lowery delivering the inaugural benediction (aka the Emaculation Invocation) and saying

“when black will not be asked to give back, when brown will stick around, yellow will be mellow and the red man will get ahead man, and white will embrace what is right.”

When white will embrace what is right, is this the type of crap we will be entreated to for the next four years. And I thought the Ku Klux Klan was a racist organization. They don’t even come close to the fomenting, putrid, rancid, foul, fetid and rotten hate in the Black community. I am sorry, I do not mean to lump Black Americans in with African–Americans

You know when kids are told that they have to share and spend time with another classmate that they do not like, it is far worse for that one kid in the end after others are told they have to play with them.

The Black community really needs to stand up and say this is pure B.S. or they will not have any respect whatsoever that they have earned over the past decades. Not only are we told that whites discriminate against the black…uh I mean African–American, but now we have to share and play with them or we whites will be punished sometime in the future.

You know I do not remember our first Black Secretary Of State speaking like this…hmmm.

Is this the great CHANGE that you voted for, I know I did not vote for this, I saw a lot of B.O.’s B.S. coming down the pike. This is just the tip of the “payback” iceberg that is headed our way.

You better dig in and hang on, because they are coming to get you whitey!

Here is the original story in case they decide to deep six it for obvious reasons.

People Vote With Their Wallets

You know free trade can be a real two edged sword, it can help you get your goods into a market but it can also give aid and comfort to your foreign competition.

For years people have been giving the pros and cons about NAFTA and President B.O. has as of last year and just recently threatened these agreements.

He says at out of one side of his face, do not worry I will protect the status quos. He did this to Canada and more recently with Germany. The things that he said evoked threats of a trade war from the E.U. but this is where he gave the “wink and nod” to the leaders.

You know buying American is a great idea and the Federal government really should support its own especially if we are using tax dollars to buy it.

Now some have suggested that we do not help out foreign business (knowing that these are US based) this is really a nearsighted approach to business.

We are as you know in a world economic market, and we can not just let our companies that are outside the US to just wither and die. If they are based in the US and they go belly up here then they will go belly up over there and then we have a domino effect of job losses and that is interconnected with our economy.

To suggest that we always prop them up is sophist argument at best.

We must deal with the root cause of what drove these businesses to locate outside the US.

I do not wish to sound simplistic but Unions. There I said it now let the cat claws and the fires of hell come to lash out at me.

I have just implicated one of the democrats sacred cows as a reason that we are in the business mess at present. You have to realize that B.O. will not reign in these Unions and the destruction that they wish to do to businesses.

The Unions see the current climate as bad, not to the bottom line of businesses but to their workers which leads to the Unions bottom lines, the union dues and the power that they hold over businesses.

Yes, if you choke off the union dues then you choke off the Unions themselves. This cannot happen and President B.O. owes them a lot for helping him rig…uh I mean campaign for him.

As a side note to the card check law that B.O. wants; it really seems strange that the very law that was to help protect union members from boss retaliation (secret ballots) now they want to know who will be voting for the Unions in order to maybe intimidate or retaliate against non union people. By the way congress does not have to conform to Union laws at capital hill.

Now in other blogs of my friends, they are stating that we should be in the tank 100% no matter what for buying American. But I need to remind them that if you only buy American at a greatly inflated price (this is my hint that we need to hamper the Unions in their ability to extort huge pay from companies) this will only add to the deepening debt problem that we are currently experiencing with the “Porkulus Maximus” bill.

It is so easy for some to say buy American. But will you put your money where your mouth and your families mouth is and forgo a cheaper costing item, just so you can support a Union worker making $14-$25 per hour. You know if it came right down to it the union workers also buy at Wal-Mart, because it is cheaper and you do not soak yourself.

We really need to address the issue of cost here at home before we can tell the world why it is better to buy American. Sure we make some really great things but so does the rest of the world. We just charge way more for it than we should.

You can talk all you want about your patriotism but in the end patriotism will not put food in your house and gas in the tank. Americans will vote with their wallet especially if it helps their families out.

People are not stupid and I am not trying to be calloused about our current state or about NAFTA, but even in great economic times we will choose the less expensive over the opulent.

In addition to getting government spending under control (yes both parties are to be blamed for that) we need to allow an atmosphere where business do not have to be afraid of current environment for doing what they do.

On that note I would like to emphasize to anyone out there who thinks that President B.O. will put controls on Unions, that is not only bologna but pure unadulterated B.S. The Unions own B.O. and they tell him how things are going to be. Like I said earlier, they helped him get elected.

Republicans Big Spenders, I am Shocked!

Well you knew that it was going to happen, Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, are going to give the democrats the support and filibuster proof the “Porkulus Maximus” bill.

I mean lets face it, you are perceived to be a bit of a liberal Republican and the democrats really, really, and I mean really need you; your weight in gold has just been guaranteed.

Not that these 3 senators are anything real special except they are known for their slightly left leaning. But to their credit they have not went out of their way to proudly author bill that among other things limit free speech…John McCain.

But these things happen when you have been marginalized to a razor thin edge. Hey these three saw an opportunity to spend and took it.

Why all the fuss over them, they are just doing what the majority of other Republicans have done over the past eight years, right?

All the millions in new government entitlements and new government programs and expanded government programs and entitlements, this new stimulus is nothing more than spending in one shot that would have been done over a few more years.

President B.O. said on February 5, at a Democratic retreat.
"So then you get the argument, 'well, this is not a stimulus bill, this is a spending bill.' What do you think a stimulus is?"
"That's the whole point," he said, as the audience hooted and applauded.

You know B.O. should just take the low and slow approach to massive spending like the Republicans did over the past eight years, he would have less resistance.

This whole idea of shoving a basketball through a garden hose is the wrong approach. You make it a few small marbles over a period of time and you will role through that garden hose much more easily. Just for the record, I do not support massive spending that will put us in deeper debt and cause the Federal government to get even more bloated and expand its scope of power.

And You Say Bush Is Stupid!

In the traditions of lampooning Republicans who say “stoooopit” things, I am unable to let Nancy Pelosi get by with it.

After no real ridicule of President B.O. and his “60” US state gaffe and JoJo the circus chimp’s gaffes, this the latest from our THIRD in line for the Presidency.

If you people, and you know who you are, are any where near “fair and balanced” then you had better start up the Laugh Factory with the funniness coming from the left in politics.

Let us start with a dusty oldie but goody.

Does anyone remember Al Gore:

From an Associated Press report during the Clinton '92 campaign: Gore, a 16-year veteran of Congress, pledged to take on the assignment with "great relish and enthusiasm." He asked voters skeptical of their promise of change to remember that every Communist government in Eastern Europe had fallen in 100 days.
"Now it's our turn here in the United States of America," Gore said.
In his first appearance in a nationally televised candidates forum, Al Gore was asked to name a past US president from whom he drew personal inspiration. the future veep unhesitatingly replied that he especially admired another "dark horse" candidate, and a product of his home state, the great "president James Knox". The only problem is that the history books show that nobody named Knox ever occupied the White House.

On a televised tour of Monticello, the historic home of Thomas Jefferson, Al Gore paused in the entrance and blinked up at four busts over the door, depicting Jefferson, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and the Marquis de Lafayette. as the CNN cameras rolled the veep-elect inquired "who are these guys?"

At a meeting of the institute of world affairs, Al Gore provided an original translation of America's official motto, praising the city's ethnic diversity as an illustration of the great principle "e pluribus unum" - "out of one, many". Many conventional Latin scholars translate the phrase as "out of many, one"
When sending out a letter to the press apologizing for yet another embarrassing gaffe, the earnest vice president Al Gore promised reporters that this time he had "learned an important lession (sic)" - though apparently not spelling. for those who wondered whether he might ever wise up, the answer came at a press conference where he solemnly declared "we all know that a leopard cannot change his stripes." "

These are only a few quotes from the Nobel winner that I was able to gleem from the internet. These gems were tough to locate, but I found them. Someone does not want them to be found and they have been cleaning up the internet that he created.

Now this gem of a gaffe that no one seems to be reporting on. But I guarantee if this were a Republican, the howler monkeys would be calling to get rid of the idiots immediately.

Nancy Pelosi: 500 Million Will Loose Their Jobs.
February 4, 2009 --
Looks like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will say anything to get support for President Obama's $900 billion stimulus package.
Pelosi publicly stated that "every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs."
Although Pelosi made the absurd claim last month, video of the event where she spoke surfaced over the weekend on YouTube and various right-wing blogs.
The United States has a population of 303 million.
It isn't the only time Pelosi has made the bizarre claim.
In a Jan. 18 interview on "Fox News Sunday," Pelosi repeated that 500 million jobs would be lost unless Obama's stimulus package was passed by Congress.
When host Chris Wallace corrected her and asked if she meant 500,000 jobs.
"What did I say, million?" asked Pelosi, adding that it "feels like 500 million."
"Some 500,000 Americans will lose their jobs each month until we have a recovery package," she said.
"Yes, Madam Speaker, it feels like almost twice the entire population are losing their jobs each month," retorted Wallace.

Think what you will for now, say what you will for now, for tomorrow you may loose your 1st.

Buy American…… No, Just Kidding!

Wow, when was the last time you heard anyone pushing buy American. Well President B.O. is no different, or is he. In this latest stimulus, bill buy American is part of a theme or a fad according to the B.O. administration.

Is this going to be another case where B.O. says one thing and then runs to that country and gives a wink and a nod, like he did with Canada during the campaign. Where strong protectionism and N.A.F.T.A came about. But Austan Goolsbee a senior economic advisor for the B.O. campaign basically said that this was rhetoric for the consumption of the Midwestern masses (not his words mine) sort of like the bitter clingers rhetoric.
Well this little bit or “rhetoric” has not went unnoticed. In addition to the opposition from the EU and Canada, some senior US Republicans have cautioned that the Buy American measure could start trade wars. Trade wars that would not be very adventitious to the US.

However, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said:
President Obama had assured her the US would not follow protectionist policies.

So apparently the rest of the world will not have to worry about the buy US “rhetoric.” This is where you insert a lot of nods and winks.

This is what you get when you get a community agitator for President. This man know how to pull off a good snow job.
Hope and change, yep we are getting a lot of that now. Others would call this bait and switch and still others would call it snake oil. But when you boil it down, B.O. turns out to be just B.S.

So how, if this protectionism is actually acted on, will it affect U.S. workers. It would isolate us from the rest of the world. Why, because we are in a world market in the 21st century; unlike the 18th and 19th century policies.

It would help out the Union bosses who would get rich off of union dues and would demand new bigger contracts to pump out the iron and others for the “buy American” projects.

The American consumer would take it in the shorts, let me explain.

American company “A” makes product “A” and sells it for $50. Foreign company “B” sells the same product “A” but at $25 per unit. Are you going to go to the streets and proclaim that you are proud to buy a product that costs more, just because it is American made. Or will you buy from company “B” for $25 and use the other $25 to put more food on your table.

Well protectionism is a two way street. If we demand that the government only buys US made goods at an inflated price, then that will only add to our growing, giant, gargantuan, humongous, fat, bloated deficit. And the rest of the world would retaliate by putting huge tariffs on our goods coming into the same countries that we shut out of our government contracted markets.

In addition to that, company “B” will have to charge more for its product than what company “A” charges. So the “American” consumer gets a price increase which means less money to use in other areas, just because we wanted to buy US only.

Not only that but you have just told the free market societies thanks but no thanks to good competition. If you remember the Union was in the practice of protecting its industrialized interests against the cheap labor of the Southern states, and we all remember how that turned out.
When you start to isolate yourself in a global economy you are asking for trouble. And when you say you will be protective and then you give a wink on the side, you come across as being a scallywag (if you know your history, you will know what a scallywag is.)

Here are some parting words of wisdom:
Proverbs 10:9-10
He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known.
He who winks with the eye causes trouble,
But a prating fool will fall.

In case you were wondering what prating is:
prate |prāt|
verb [ intrans. ]
talk foolishly or tediously about something.

Rush Limbaugh Is Not The Problem!

Marc Chamot, is a dear friend of mine and some one that can test your knowledge about current events. But his latest blog has totally missed the “Marc” with his assumptions about the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, and the connection between the Clinton N.A.F.T.A and jobs leaving the US.
To begin with I would like to give kudos to Michael Steele, this is a man who, not because of his skin color, but because of the “R” by his name was defeated in the Maryland 2006 Senate election. You would think the democrats would back a black candidate over a white candidate (yes I still believe the dems did not want a conservative black man in the senate.) I believe that he will bring some backbone to the Republicans, if they choose to listen to him and follow along.

Which brings me to my next point, the Republican party as a whole. They have shown that they will cave and cower to the press and democrats (yes I know that I am spelling Democrats in lower case,) they do not want to be perceived as being racist, homophobic, sexist, or any other politically incorrect label that you can think of.

Even when the party went out of its way to grow the budget and spend like drunken sailors, they would still get negative press as a party. Michael Steele does have his work cut out for him. He will need show the American people that the Republicans (at least in the past) are for the little man and that smaller government is good for all, rich and poor alike. He will have to bypass the Clinton/Obama media and go straight to the people. When I say people, I mean all Americans, with out the B.S. of the stupid labels such as African-American, Latino-American, European-American (I know they are just white but go with me on this one), American-Indian-American, Stupid-American, Thirsty-American, Hungry-American, so on and so forth.
Wow with all of the different groups that we have in America, Steele does have his work cut out, in as far as addressing their various needs and distinct cultures; or is he going to see all Americans as just that, Americans. That is the pit that the Republican party fell into. They have been sucked into this popularism of the left and the democratic party. They wish to please every body, but you can only make some of the people happy some of the time, and all of them none of the time. You got to stick to core values, smaller government and less spending. They chose to ignore that value.

To know about the lack of leadership you only need to look at former President Bush, you can read my earlier blog discussion about him. The fact that Bush was just for big business and not the working class, then explain the tax cuts for the middle class. Which are set to expire in 2010, then you will see the middle class get hit hard and the democrats will do nothing to stop it. He also was not responsible for all the jobs going out of the country, remember Clinton (1993) is the one who signed onto N.A.F.T.A. But President Bush did sign C.A.F.T.A.,in 2005, half way through his presidency and in 2006 the democrats took control of the Senate, so in that respect some of the jobs went south (no pun intended.)

This other obsession that Marc has about Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh being the reason that the Republican party had tanked, well Marc my friend, if the Republican party would have listened to Rush and Sean, then they would not be in the mess they are in now. As a matter of fact, they would never have run a chump like McCain as their nominee. If you really listen to Rush and Sean, then you would know that they do not give out marching orders to their listening masses. Those that listen will also know that Rush and Sean are for smaller government and the working man keeping more of his paycheck rather than giving it to the government. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, present facts and then they give their point of view about it. The facts are the Republicans stopped listening to any conservative voice years ago when they started to spend, spend, spend.

The Republicans under Bush did this to themselves, as Bush pointed out in 2006, “they got a whoopin” and he did nothing to help them. Like I said, I explain this in my earlier blog.

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and others have picked up where Ronald Reagan had left off and continued the drumbeat of real liberty through a limited and smaller government, less spending, and less taxes being taken away from the working man (both rich and poor.) Yes I defend the rich, namely because you can not get work from a poor man. I think that Libertarians would even agree with this summation that is to say it is parallel to the Libertarian thinking.
I do agree that the Republican party has went along with the democrats, because they perceived it would gain them power and cause them to be re-elected. In this sense Marc is right that they have drifted away from main street and went to the gated community. They have tried the democratic way and they are finding it to be as bitter as hemlock, and the ones who drank deeply are now gone.

The new Republican chairman does have a lot of pieces to pick up and there will be a lot of helping hands that will offer assistance. Whether he will listen to the “ideologist” of the left or the right (I think we all know that answer,) he will do what he can to put back the undamaged pieces and fill in the holes with new and better people.

The Idea that Rush and Sean are responsible for the Republicans downfall is down right laughable. In reality Rush did all that he could to offer ideas to the Republicans and give them any assistance that he could. Oh by the way he still is not part of the party.

Like I said earlier Marc it has right and wrong on this matter, he still makes very valid points but misses some others. But healthy debate in a free society is what it is all about, only John McCain would disagree with that, yeah I am still angry about that.

If Education Will Determine Our Future, Then Our Future Is Not So Good.

I will dispense with the old and tired clichés about how our education dollars are so poorly spent. For now I will let this photo speak the volumes that one could write. Later, in another blog or my book, I will show that ignorance will be our undoing.

For your amusement and edification, anyway for those that can see it.

Enjoy!

No, I will not reveal the location of this skool!

President Bush, Nice Guy but a Lousy Political Leader

My critique on the out going president will be a mixed bag of nuts. First I would like to say thank you for going after those who would bring harm and destruction to our nation. Not a single hit on our soil since then, this is not even up for discussion.

Secondly, thank you for thinking of the families with your tax policies (they also helped the not so rich) it has kept a lot of folks from going broke. I am not looking for discussions about the "tax cuts for the rich" B.S., namely I cannot get a job from a poor person but the rich seem to have things for me to do and they pay nicely.

Now for the things that I think dulled the luster of the President.

Leadership, leadership, leadership, and sticking up for our side. He was very detached from the public and did not want to get down into the trenches with the rest of us. He (President Bush) was very respectful of the office of the President but did not use it to advance the Republican philosophy of smaller and limited government and certainly did not curb spending.

That could be part of the problem that has led us to where we are now, but evidence has also shown that Barney (my boy lollipop) Frank and other democrats fingerprints are all over the housing debacle.

President Bush needed to just go out and meet with his party and with the public, both those who supported him and those that did not. Although he did cozy up a little to the democratic party leaders in Congress and you can see how that worked out for him.

As the old saying goes, "if you tell a lie long enough, people will start to believe it." This is what happened to Bush over the past eight years. He was slandered, bashed, called all manner of names, hated at all times and was "damned if he did and damned if he did not."

The worse thing was when he was lampooned, he did not say anything…anything at all, he did not defend himself to anyone. This is no wonder so many people just do not like this guy. You have to at the very least stand up for your self and not think that you are above the fray.

If you do not stand up and challenge others then that just tells them that it is ok to malign your reputation and will basically diminish your standing in the world.

President Bush's "they got a whooping" during the disastrous 06 elections, just showed how out of touch he was with the party at large. He made the statement like he was just the president and not a member of the Republican party and he did not really care. I guarantee the democrats would never do that. I mean they have a klansman for a representative in the democratic party and they make no big deal of it, yeah Robert (sheets) Byrd (D) V.A. K.K.K. (D)

If they will not eat their own and show loyalty to the death, then why can't we. The Republican party because of the absent leader Bush, has lost a lot of members and support (me included.)

They really need to go back to what works, less intrusive government, smaller government, and get out of the pocketbooks of Americans. The government is not the opiate of the people but rather an addiction hard to kick to the curb.

Well I hope that future leaders will learn what not to do from Bush's example of how not to lead.

I am sorry but for the most part you were a disappointment and the democrats are going to destroy the good things that you did, so you are going to the preverbal whoopin.

I Can Hit You, But You Can Not Hit Me Back!

I have been watching the whole Gaza the victim and Israel the aggressor thing for the past week and quite frankly I am sick and tired of it. First of all Gaza for the past year (07) has lobbed hundreds of rockets into Israeli towns. During all of this Israel pretty much just sucked it up and moved on. The Israelis listened to international pressures to not respond. But seriously folks, how can you ask a country to allow its citizens to just shut up and deal with this type of attack. You cannot!

Let's say your neighbor started to throw molotov cocktails into your house, starting fires and hurting your children. Your natural response would be in this order,
1. get every one out of the house
2. call the police and report this incident
3. go over and have a very angry exchange with your neighbor.

But lets say that when the police arrive they do nothing to your neighbor and begin to turn on you. Telling you that the piece of land that you are living on used to belong to the neighbors great, great grandfathers.

Of course you would look at them and wonder if drug testing is mandatory for the PD. They also tell you if you want the actions of the neighbors to stop, then you should find a new place to live.

You begin to piece together a picture that you will get no justice and your house is burned to the ground.

Now you do have options;
1. stay where you are and take the neighbors insults and fire bombings, or;
2. deal with the neighbor in a way that will make them think twice before doing it again.
Basically you would be on your own, because lets face it the law is not going to really do their job.

This is the same position that Israel finds itself in. They have been put up to the wall and threatened. They have capitulated to the will of Hamas over and over, but still they are "firebombed." And the police, aka the UN, are not lifting a finger to help but rather they are telling Israel to shut up or move; in this case give up more of their land.

Common sense would dictate that if you are attacked to protect your family, which is what Israel is doing. You can not blame them, they have been patient, hoping that things would change with a newly elected government (who by the way is broadcasting from undisclosed locations; more than likely not in Gaza.)

I am also willing to bet that most of the people in Gaza are being told what to say and who to hate or else, it is like a prison over there.

By the way if all the arab countries are so concerned for the people in Gaza, why do they not let the refugees stay with them; Saudi, Jordan, Lebanon, etc…, its just a thought.

To Secede Or Not To Secede, That Is The Question!

In this time of discourse with our fellows in Washington we as a people need to hold them accountable for the path that they wish to impose on us as citizens.

We need to look at them in the context of, are the powers in DC representing us or are they representing their own means and ends; and to the devil with the rest of us if we do not go along.

I would surmise that they have taken the latter rather than the former. They promise great things, they want to bring peace and prosperity but only deliver their own interest in the end.

“I will go to Washington and I will ‘Change’ the way things work.” Does this sound familiar I would hope so, we have been entreated to these platitudes far too long and we as the populace grow weary, angry and even apathetic. We grow tired of the “same ole–same ole” among our elected aristocratic class.
Yes, they have become the new bourgeoisie class who say one thing here in their home state and do a completely different thing in DC. And they expect us to be compliant sheep that is lead to the slaughter house of their power procurement, with out so much as a whimper.

Well that type of mentality was soundly defeated in our past with a war of independence and a civil war which by the way did knock some sense into the lawmakers collective heads; but oh how they have forgotten the lessen.

The Democrat party is now and for about the past fifty years, been amassing power to themselves to be set up as the giver of indulgences. Well we the people as was with Dr. Luther and his 95 thesis, have in our power to begin to reeducate the ignorant on Capital Hill.
This is an alternative to another civil war, or at least the antecedence to secession. This alternative that I speak of is Nullification.

This idea of nullification would allow the States to make null and void any laws that the Federal government would try to impose on them. This idea stems from Thomas Jefferson and James Madison with their writings of the Kentucky and Virginia resolutions of 1798.

This was written in opposition to the Alien and Sedition act of 1798. The way that the resolutions were written was from the view point that the Constitution of the US was no more than a compact and not the supreme law of the land.
It was an early attempt to constrain the factions at that time, that controlled the federal government. The Federal government was beginning to encroach on the States were the Constitution did not give them clear grounds to do so. The constitution does spell out the Feds responsibilities and the stuff that is not for them is to be relegated to the states to make that decision.

Nullification, was a way that states could control the Federal government from enacting laws that could injure its citizens, which, they are charged with protecting.
Encroachment from a strong central government was seen as an evil and there had to be a way to preserve liberty and preserve the Union. This was the position that John C. Calhoun the vice president to Andrew Jackson; who, by the way was a senator from Tennessee, saw the tariffs and other acts as favoring the north and hurting the south.
Andrew Jackson saw Nullification as treason and threatened to hang Calhoun and other who followed him. Jackson saw this as a path to anarchy and the dissolution of the Union. Those were only fears of the powerful to stay in power. Calhoun had wanted to keep a tight control on the Federal government in order to preserve the Union. If the states are given the right to challenge and even nullify a law; then what is the inducement for succession if you hold a lot of power yourself?

John C. Calhoun

Calhoun was seen almost as a traitor, when in reality he wanted a balance of power between the States and the Federal government.

So, how is this to be applied to today. Well even up into the 1950’s the idea of Nullification was used and even some of the now liberally thinking big government north eastern states, had at one time tried to use Nullification to real in “big government.”

One big issue that has come up and there is certainly a lot of controversy over it, is GHGE or green house gas emissions. The Supreme court has recently upheld the right of the EPA to not only regulate auto emissions but also apparently animal emissions. This would lead them to impose a fee on certain sized animal operations and require permits to be bought. This would be a great windfall tax for the Federal government but would lead to an increase in food (in this case meats) prices and drive a lot of the smaller farmers out of business, because, they would not stay in business long enough to absorb the fees on each of the animals.

This would suggest that the Federal government wants to impede the pursuit of happiness clause of our Declaration of Independence. That the government wants to reach into our foods (not that it is not happening now) and tell us what we can and cannot raise and if we do raise something, we must pay dearly for it.

You know the vegetarians are just salivating over this idea right now, but they are for imposing their beliefs on you any way (that will be another blog article.)
This is one example of how one faction wants to control the rest of us. And leads us to how we could impose Nullification.

If the States could simply say what you are proposing would hurt a lot of people in our state and we do not think it constitutional, then the EPA through the government would have to rethink their whole tax the farting cows for saving the planet scheme. And yes this is something that the EPA is thinking about right now.

Here is the story on that:
http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2008/20081230165231.aspx

So what do you think of our little Union now. It can be controlled and it can be reigned in so as not to be tyrannical toward the citizens. And yes, this Union can survive the democrats and republicans, if we stand up for our selves and not faint in their presence.

More in another blog.
