John McCain pulling another Perot

John McCain, is he pulling a fast one on the Republican party like Ross Perot did back in the 90’s. What Perot did was to appeal to the “independent” voter and vote for a change or a new direction. What was not widely talked was his animosity against the former George Bush. You remember the accusations that the Republicans (in 1992) were going to pull a “dirty trick” on his daughter during her wedding. Now to McCain’s run this time, he believed that it was his turn to run for president in 2000 but Bush got in his way and you know the rest from then on. Now 2008 McCain is running again and is taking all the endorsements and anything else that he can to get the nomination nod from the Republicans. Now to delve into my theory that McCain is going be instrumental in handing the White House to the Democrats in 2008. First lets take a look at the positive reporting from the media. First and foremost there is no real examination of his cooperation with “liberal” politicians, ie…Feingold for one. His wreaking havoc on the first Amendment (which gives us the freedom of the press) is not touted as a bad thing. But non the less the Media is giving him a fighting chance unlike the savage beating that they would normally give any other “true” conservative Republican. This leads to my thinking that this could be a major “bait and switch” candidate. As with Ross Perot, McCain is going to divide up the republican vote between the conservative Reagonites and the “Blue Blood Liberal” wing of the Republican party. By this I mean that those who believe that McCain is betraying the Constitution (McCain Feingold) will not vote for him. This will leave the “liberal” and the so called independent voters to push for him and give him great exposure as a “maverick” candidate. I think it is safe to say that the independent voters are more than likely going to vote for Democrats when the rubber meats the road. But the “liberals” needed to propel an easy target to the forefront of the Republican party so that they can seal the deal for the Democrats to take over in 2008. I also believe that McCain knows this and with his cozying up to the Democrats over the years has put him in a great position to surrender the White House to the Democrats if he gets the nod. The way for him to get the nod is to get the delegate votes. This is where the media come into play for him. They gin him up as the candidate for the Republicans by trashing his opponents and puffing him up to look good and making him a sure thing. But we all know who the media truly supports and they could not with a straight face endorse a Republican candidate unless they had an agenda. Like Ross Perot, McCain has already fractured the Republican conservative base against the more left of the party. Now why would a person be willing to sacrifice their chance at the highest office in the land unless there was not a good reason. Remember Ross split up the vote for the Democrats and Clintons in 1992, now the same thing is occurring again for the Democrats and the CLINTONS. Do not underestimate the Clintons. SSSD–Same Stuff Same Democrat. This would make one think, with McCain’s friendship with the more “liberal” Democrats what is his “second prize” for giving up the White House. Could this be maybe better treatment and position in the Senate or maybe a cabinet position. Remember he was approached before about running as V.P. on the Democratic ticket. This makes sense when you think about how this race has been run and what McCain stands for (btw he is a RINO republican in name only) and who are these mysterious “independent” voters anyway.

And the Rich Stay Rich!

Good ole Johnny boy, during his speech announcing his exit from the race today; let us know about the haves and have-nots. He mentioned that he stopped at a homeless shelter and visited the people there. He made mention of the pastor who was feeding the people at the shelter with her own money. She said that her bank account was all but gone. He then pontificated about how a homeless person came to him and ask him not to forget them when they go back to Washington. He was obviously touched and this did affect him. But this goes to show how this pompous windbag is only concerned about how he looks and not what he should really do. You know Jesus even said that if you just say good things about the homeless, it does them absolutely no good whatsoever (James 2:14, incase you think I am making this up.) John was apparently touched but not enough to give the shelter any money from HIS POCKET as the pastor was doing, instead he was probably thinking “I need another $400 haircut.” Yeah, he has shown us that it is good to be the HAVES of America. Just thought you should know.

A hidden agenda in the campaign of Obama?

After some thinking and considerable digging, my mind is made up about Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. I would like to first preface with this; I would not have voted for him in the first place. But now I know why I would never vote for him or someone who would claim to be like him. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is a member of the Trinity United Church Of Christ, for over 20 years. This is long enough to absorb and take in what is being taught there, as it would be with any other organization. Barack has had this time to have a lot of his thinking formed from this one single source of teaching. Yes I am aware that his mother had taught him about the world, its heroes and legends and as a result put his mind into a way thinking that would be considered "global." That is not the problem that I am having, lets face it a lot of us would be much better of with a well rounded life experience on a "global" scale (no I do not endorse or advocate a one world philosophy.) The problem that I am having is with the view points of the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. who is the head of this particular Church Of Christ. Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Does claim that they are a part of a people that God has chosen to fight oppression and injustice. This is not necessarily a bad thing on the surface but looks can be deceiving. Now lets take a look at one of his sponsored links on the web site ( http://www.tucc.org/home.htm ) a link to a magazine called Trumpet Magazine. I find it intriguing that one of the featured articles about "Empowerment", for November and December 2007 issues, was from non other than The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The WHAT?!!! This man is known for his hate of Jews and anything Zionist. This man is the epitome of Black Racism if ever there was an example. But this is linked from the web site of the Church Of Christ. And if you are thinking this is just a link and they cannot control what the magazine prints; then look at the Church bulletin for Sunday January 20th 2008. This from the Pastor's Page, Issuing accolades to The Trumpet and its creator Rev. Barbara Allen, for all its hard work. This is very disturbing for a man who claims that they are for justice and that they are African-centered thought, unlike Eurocentrism, does not assume superiority and look at everyone else as being inferior. "Unlike Eurocentrism" would this possible be code for "whites." Another point of interest is the repeated references to W.E.B Du Bois who was an early 20th century civil rights leader and possible a Communist in his thinking. In a March 16, 1953 issue of The National Guardian, Du Bois wrote "Joseph Stalin was a great man; few other men of the 20th century approach his stature." In what, MASS MURDER! I wonder what he would have thought of Pol Pot! But all insanity aside, he was after all a civil rights leader, right. This man seems to have embedded his ethos into the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Du Bois' (picture of W.E.B. Du Bois at left) communist thinking as far as econmics is concerned, has been planted in to Dr. Wrights mind and has shaped his thinking about wealth. "Middleclassness" is something that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr's Church warns against. The Church has used this term to mean "selfish individualism" and urges them to channel their "gains" back into the "community." Nothing like a guilt trip for having a buck more than your neighbor. I am sure this is what Stalin wanted also… in the beginning. "Workers paradise" I think is what they called it. Now that you have some of the thinking and some of the logic of those who influenced Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., can you really think that he would not push for a more collectivist United States Government (look how well it has worked for the third world countries in Africa) and he would be predisposed to taking more of your income to "put back into the Community." I am sure that this is just the tip of the iceberg but the fact remains that this man is not in one way ashamed of his life and leanings. This man is apologetically a true believer in what he has learned and that makes him dangerous! I am not voting for McCaine either!!!!

Africans still enslaving Africans

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/in_depth/629/629/6468215.stm
This is a story about a slave in modern day Africa. Watch this for your self and then say that the US owes reparations. Just FYI. I do not know how long this link will be active so watch soon. This is from the BBC.

Just shut up and let me run things!

Do not be concerned about the second Amendment (McCaine does not own any guns); we are in danger of loosing our first Amendment. Once again McCain has gone after our first Amendment freedom of speech. What does he have against the people being able to speak freely? Our Bill of Rights guarantees us the right to redress grievances against our government, unless it is speech aimed at a politician apparently. Another question is why am I reporting this and not the national media, you know NBC, CBS and ABC and curiously FNC; these are the guys who you would think profit the most from the first Amendment. And the fact that it is a Republican that is heading this assault would be usually more than enough for them to tar and feather the Republican party as being anti–Constitutional! But they have been strangely quiet on this issue, makes you wonder…hmmm, what are they getting out of this? This is what McCain (R) Arizona, said when asked if the McCain-Feingold law impeded the freedom of speech on the Don Imus radio show (April 28 06). (McCaine) "I work in Washington and I know that money corrupts. And I and a lot of other people were trying to stop that corruption. Obviously, from what we've been seeing lately, we didn't complete the job. But I would rather have a clean government than one where quote First Amendment rights are being respected that has become corrupt. If I had my choice, I'd rather have the clean government." This total nut job of a Republican is willing to throw away everything that the Founding Fathers fought and died for. In case any of you have forgotten what it is that I am referring to here it is: Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. I wonder how long until someone exercises their second amendment rights to protect the first. What could cause a person to consider removing parts of the Constitution just for “a clean government” the money that goes to the various candidates also comes from the average Joe in America. Are they the reason that McCaine needs to fear; I fear a Government that fears the voice of the people. It used to be considered treason again the crown if you spoke ill of the King; this was punishable by death in some instances. Is this what we want. If it was not for this freedom of speech, we would not know who is a whack job and who is not. As an end note President Bush signed this into law, these are very troubling signs indeed.

New Years Dissolutions.

Now that the drunken parties are well over with and the hangovers are reminding us that we are only human, it is time to start with our new years resolution or dissolutions. I will loose weight, I will diet and exercise, blah, blah, blah. Yeah we have heard them over and over again. Lets actually do something that we will stick with. Lets start with showing up for work…on time, pay our taxes, go to bed at night. Yes these are the easy ones and surprisingly they are attainable goals. But lets say you want to impress your friend(s) with lofty goals but you do not want to fall flat on your face in humiliation. Take loosing weight for instance; you could do a weigh in during the winter months and a final weight during the summer months. In the winter you will wear your “winter” clothes to weight more, and in the summer do the final weight in shorts and a t-shirt. Now the diet and exercise part, this will take a little showmanship on your part. Buy some of those South Beach diet boxes or what ever you would care to be seen with and strategically place them around your house. When your friend(s) come over make sure they see you with some of these in your hands some of the time. Do not make a big deal or even mention it to them, what you have done is planted the image in their mind of you with the diet food. The exercise part will be a little more demanding but well worth the payoff. Like the diet food boxes you can place weights in the house make sure to dust them to make them appear they are being used. Also you may want to wear some sweats and actually do a little exercise to work up a sweat, keeping up appearances is what most resolutions are about. You know a little window dressing on yourself will give the appearance that you are actually doing something to improve your life. This occurs with minimal effort and will get those perky cheerleader types of your back so you can focus on what you want to do…fishing, hunting, watching the tube, you know, the important things in life. Just my way of defending against humanities endless parade of “my way of life is better than yours” no fun having cheerleaders. Besides we are all going to die of one thing or another, right, so have some fun.
